Professor Christina de Bellaigue nominated for Oxford Student-Led Teaching Award
Exeter’s Jackson Fellow in History, Professor Christina de Bellaigue, was shortlisted for an Oxford University Student Union Student-Led Teaching Award this year.
The Teaching Awards recognise outstanding work by the University’s academic staff. Students are invited to nominate staff across a range of categories, and from these nominations a panel of judges creates a shortlist and picks the winners.
Dr Bellaigue was shortlisted in the Outstanding Graduate Supervisor category.
In response to her nomination, Dr Bellaigue said: “I’m very touched and pleased to have been nominated for an OUSU student-led teaching award for outstanding graduate supervisor. Thank you to the person who nominated me, it’s a huge pleasure and privilege to work with the outstanding grad students I supervise, and from whom I learn a lot.”
