Professor Dame Carol Robinson appears on BBC’s Woman’s Hour

Professor Dame Carol Robinson, Royal Society Research Professor and Dr Lee’s Professor of Chemistry, was interviewed on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour on 23 April.

Professor Robinson talked about her career path into chemistry, the challenges of balancing motherhood with a career in science, becoming the first female professor of chemistry at both Cambridge and Oxford, gender differences in the way people work, and receiving the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award 2015.
