Professor Das to appear in new BBC series on the Boleyn family

Professor Nandini Das (Tutorial Fellow in English) will appear in a new three-part BBC Two series on the Boleyn family.

The Boleyns: A Scandalous Family explores the gripping rise to power of the Tudor’s most fascinating family dynasty, with Thomas Boleyn, Anne’s father, at the heart of the show.

‘If you want to climb to that centre, you have to climb over other bodies,’ Professor Das notes in the series’ exciting trailer.

Professor Das also appeared in Channel 5’s Henry VIII in October 2020.

Episode one of The Boleyns: A Scandalous Family will air on 13 August on BBC Two and will also be available to viewers in the UK to watch on BBC iPlayer until August 2022.
