Professor Edwin Williamson appears on BBC Radio 4’s PM

Professor Edwin Williamson, Professorial Fellow in Spanish, was interviewed on the BBC Radio 4’s PM programme on 17 March following the news that the remains of Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes have been found in Madrid almost 400 years after his death.

Professor Williamson discussed the work of Cervantes and particularly its influence on the Spanish speaking world, as well as the significance of the discovery of Cervantes’ remains.
