Professor Jonathan Herring, Fellow in Law, publishes “Vulnerable Adults and the Law”

Professor Jonathan Herring, DM Wolfe-Clarendon Fellow and Tutor in Law, has published Vulnerable Adults and the Law with Oxford University Press.

The book incorporates family law, medical law, disabilities studies, feminist analysis, and legal theory as it addresses the controversial topic of autonomy and mental capacity, including the care of vulnerable adults. There is discussion of the case law to date and the courts’ interpretation of the notion of “best interest”.
