Professor Molly Stevens joins Exeter College as a Supernumerary Fellow

Exeter College is proud to welcome Professor Molly Stevens FREng FRS as a Supernumerary Fellow of the College.

Professor Stevens’ pioneering research has been recognised by more than 30 international awards, including the 2023 Nordisk Prize, and has led to several spin-out companies. Her research has been key in addressing some of the major healthcare challenges that we face today, particularly regarding the applications of biomaterials in disease diagnostics and regenerative medicine. Professor Stevens is also a passionate advocate for the democratisation of medicine and accessibility of healthcare to all, sharing this vision for democratic global health at the 2020 World Economic Forum.

Professor Stevens recently became the John Black Professor of Bionanoscience at the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Genetics at the University of Oxford, and Co-Deputy Director of the Kavli Institute for Nanoscience Discovery, which is led by Exeter College Fellow Professor Dame Carol Robinson. Professor Stevens is also an affiliated member of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (IBME) and a member of Oxford’s Department of Engineering Science.
