Professor Nandini Das appointed to UK Committee on Research Integrity
Tutorial Fellow in English Professor Nandini Das has been appointed to the new UK Committee on Research Integrity (UK CORI).
Hosted by UK Research and Innovation, UK CORI has been established to promote research integrity across the UK and internationally. It will do so by creating opportunities for discussion, identifying how systemic pressures affect research integrity, and working with a range of partners to advise on long term progress in the field.
The new committee members, whose appointment follows a competitive selection process, bring expertise from a range of fields. Professor Nandini Das was a founding member of UKRI Research England Council from 2016 to 2022. Alongside this work, she has served on UK research committees across multiple areas, including research excellence framework, open access, and equality, diversity and inclusion.
‘We are excited to be bringing together this diverse group of people who all share a genuine enthusiasm for contributing to a research environment that naturally promotes and recognises integrity’, writes Professor Andrew George MBE, co-chair of the UK CORI.
Exeter College congratulates Professor Nandini Das on her appointment. More information about UK CORI and the rest of the new committee is available here.
