Rector Cairncross on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme

Exeter College’s Rector Cairncross spoke on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme on 27 March. She was speaking about whether British banks should increase their capital reserves.

She suggested that increasing banks’ ratio of capital reserves would make it harder for businesses to borrow from banks, but that it was a necessary thing.
