Rector speaks at the annual Festival of Science

Frances Cairncross has given an address at the Festival of Science in her role as this year’s President of the British Association for the Advancement of Science. The Rector spoke on the topic of climate change, emphasising the importance of solving some of the unanswered questions of global warming and the need to develop strategies for dealing with extreme weather.
