Sarah K Marr to publish her debut novel
All The Perverse Angels, the debut novel by Exeter alumna Dr Sarah K Marr (1988, Jurisprudence), will be published on 22 February 2018.
Spanning Victorian Oxford to the London of the 1980s, All the Perverse Angels is a novel about the nature of loss and the confusion of love, about the stories we are told and the stories we tell ourselves. It will be published by Unbound, a specialist publishing house that finances publications through crowd-funding. The funding target for All the Perverse Angels has now been reached, but you can still support the project and choose from a range of rewards at the book’s crowd-funding web page. Reward options include having your name printed in the book in the list of supporters, receiving an advance proof edition (usually reserved for reviewers and trade buyers only), and taking a tour of Oxford with Sarah Marr, visiting locations from the book and enjoying dinner with her in one of the colleges. Exonians may be particularly interested to know that Exeter College is one of the locations that features in the book.
