Sir Ivor Crewe (1963, PPE) releases The Blunders of Our Governments

Sir Ivor Crewe, an Exonian and the Master of University College, Oxford, will publish The Blunders of Our Governments later this month.

The book exposes some of the most extraordinary and costly errors of British government. Why was up to £20 billion wasted on a failed scheme to update London’s Underground system? What process led to the creation of the Assets Recovery Agency, which cost far more to run than it ever clawed back from the proceeds of organised crime? And is the the Coalition government as blunder-prone as its predecessors?

You can read a review of The Blunders of Our Governments here and pre-order a copy here.
