Sir Ronald Cohen (1964, PPE) named a Beacon Fellow

Exeter College Old Member and Honnorary Fellow Sir Ronald Cohen (1964, PPE) has been named a Beacon Fellow at the 2013 Beacon Awards.

The Beacon Awards aim to celebrate outstanding philanthropic achievement made by individuals, families and small groups of individuals working collaboratively. Sir Ronald was awarded The Beacon Award for Impact Investment to recognise the work he does to encourage investment in areas that provide social as well as financial benefits.

Among the social investment projects that Sir Ronald has been involved with are Big Society Capital, the Social Investment Task Force, Bridges Ventures, and Social Financial UK.
