“Tolkien at Exeter College” named a finalist for the Mythopoeic Scholarship Award in Inklings Studies
Tolkien at Exeter College: How an Undergraduate Created Middle-earth, written by renowned Tolkien scholar John Garth and published by Exeter College, has been named as a finalist for the Mythopoeic Scholarship Award in Inklings Studies.
The Mythopoeic Scholarship Award in Inklings Studies recognises contributions to the study of work by members of the Oxford group of writers and scholars known as the “Inklings”, which included JRR Tolkien (2011, English and Classics) and CS Lewis. Tolkien at Exeter College, which was published in 2014, has been shortlisted for this prestigious award, with the winner being announced at the start of August.
