Congratulations to Exeter Earth Sciences student Will Mckenzie (2014) who has been awarded both the Gibbs and Burdett-Coutts Prizes this month for his academic performance.
The Gibbs Prize is awarded to a Final Honour School Earth Sciences student on the basis of the quality and distinction of their field mapping report, whilst the Burdett-Coutts Prize commends the best overall performance in the third year Final Honours School by an Earth Sciences student.
Mr Mckenzie received the awards in a ceremony on 23 June. His achievement marks the fifth time in six years that an Exeter student has received the Gibbs Prize.
