Freshers' Week Events - Exeter College

We are excited to present to you our Freshers’ Week timetable for 2024!

Down the page you’ll find your individual slots for library inductions and welfare lunches, but you’ll also be required to attend Faculty inductions and meetings, so ensure that you keep a note of when your attendance is required. You could keep this in the calendar app on your phone, or scribble it in the margins on the downloadable poster below. However you choose to mark it, make sure to set yourself a reminder so that you don’t forget, as there is a lot happening!

29/08: Beaumont Elms Practice is holding a Q&A on the 9th at 17:00 via MS Teams.

Sunday 6th October

Arrivals | College Lodge | 13:00 onwards
You are welcome to arrive on-site from 13:00. Please report to the Lodge to collect your allocated room key.
Remember that if your parent(s) or guardian(s) are dropping you off, then they are invited to our Dining Hall for refreshments before making the journey home.

Once you’ve settled in to your room, come and say hello!

Staircase Pizza | Your Staircase | 18:00-20:00
Get to know your staircase neighbours over pizza. Pizzas must be collected from the JCR.

A chilled out night of fun and games – plus our annual quiz!

Monday 7th October

Undergraduate Freshers’ Dinner | Antechapel | 19:00 Mandatory
A chance to meet those you will be studying alongside and experience a formal College Dinner!
Pre-drinks in the Antechapel at 19:00 followed by dinner in the Hall at 19:30.
Dress code: Formal with gowns. No sub-fusc.

Get comfy and enjoy a cosy night in with snacks and a good film!
