Dr John Maddicott, MA DPhil Oxf, FBA
From 1969 to 2006 John Maddicott was fellow and tutor in History at Exeter College. In addition, he was Sub-Rector of Exeter College from 1988 to 1990, and Senior Tutor from 2000 to 2001. He has written on the economy of Anglo-Saxon England, and the political and social history of England in the 13th and 14th centuries.
In 2014, he published ‘Founders and Fellowship: The Early History of Exeter College, Oxford, 1314-1592‘.
